Ashford the gateway to Europe (at the moment)
via Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel

Ashford is a market town on the river Stour, SW of Canterbury. Population of around 50,000, it has expanded in the 1980s as a new commercial and industrial centre (railway works, light engineering, brewing) for SE England. It has continued to expand due to the work associated with the Channel Tunnel.

Ashford has the International Rail Station, currently with links to, Paris, Brussels, The Alps, Eurodisney and many more cities via the Eurostar
